Do you experience night sweats or wake up yelling? Withdrawal symptoms are tough but fear not because the footy season is back. Is there anything more perfect than Friday night footy? Nope. Now the way I see it, you have four options.
1. Go to a game - This is by far the best option. The atmosphere is amazing, the beer is cold and the crowd is loud. Check out anything and everything footy related here. You can view the draw, player profiles, buy tickets and more.
2. Watch it at your local – RSLs and pubs are pretty accommodating to us footy fans and if you have a rowdy crowd, this is almost as good as being there. The beer is cheaper and at half time you can win back what you spent on alcohol at the pokies.
3. Veg out on the couch - Just let it all hang out. At home you can say what you really think without being intimidated by the massive dude in the opposing team's jersey that keeps "accidentally" kicking the back of your seat. You're comfortable, can eat anything you want and you have commentators which is the only thing a live game lacks.
4. Listen to the radio - If worst comes to worst this is still a viable option. The radio obviously lacks the visual aspect of the game but if you're driving or at work you can still be a part of the action.
Remember, if you can't make it on a Friday, then Saturday, Sunday and Monday are also available.
Your team might disappoint you but the game never does.
