Great place for breakfast snacks and drinks
On the main street in San Agustinillo, just underneath Luz Del Sol, is the cute Frida Cafe. Run by Christina, who always gives a warm welcome, they are open for breakfast, and for drinks in the evening.
Christina opens the place reliably, which isn't always the case in these relaxed parts.
Breakfast offerings are fruit salad, good coffee, and occasional pastries. You can add granola and yoghurt to your fruit salad for a bit of extra bite!
It offers good wi-fi, a friendly vibe, and a cheap selection of decent food in the morning, and drinks in the evening. They have fruit juices as well as beers, wine, and mescal on offer if you want something a bit stronger.
One of the best things about the place is that it is in a great location on the main road; you can see folks walking by and, over the street, even the sea.
Christina will stop and chat if you want, or leave you to work if you are busy, and this brings many people to use her internet and enjoy the vibe.
She is originally from Italy, but set up the cafe - named after Mexican artist Frida Kahlo - because she admires her work and story.
There are several pictures of Frida adorning the walls, and the cafe is nicely decorated, and always extremely clean.
