Fresh Turkish Bread at Central Market

If you are a regular visitor to Central market for your weekly grocery shopping, you might come across this tiny bakery selling freshly made Turkish bread. This bakery is situated just outside the Chinese supermarket. It sells freshly made Turkish bread, pide (veg and non- veg version), and garlic bread topped with chesse and herbs. Sounds delicious! We ordered a garlic bread to start with.

The bakery seemed quite popular with the regular customers, so expect a 15 min waiting time for your order to be prepared. The garlic bread cost us $3.50 for one serving which was big enough to fill us on a go. It was very much different and fresher to the ready-made Turkish breads which we get in our local supermarkets. Pre-prepared Turkish breads were $3 each and pide was $9.40 each.

Upon questioning the vegetarian pide had a filling of mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese and spinach, which we might try on our next visit to Central Market.
