Daily from noon to 10pm, until 29th March, enjoy a $15 meal and beverage at one of 4 restaurants at Crown Casino. The participating restaurants are Emporio Pizza & Pasta, Tia To, Sho Noodle Bar and Margo's Café. Each has a selection of dishes on offer for the Fresh Flavours $15 promotion. Delicious choices including chilled tiger prawns, snapper grilled with an Italian salad or steamed atop Asian vegetables, smoked paprika spatchcock, and pork tenderloin with Vietnamese salad. Unfortunately, there are no vegetarian options listed, but the staff could probably accommodate.
Grilled red snapper with nicoise salad at Emporio Pizza and Pasta, Crown Casino
We chose Emporio Pizza and Pasta; a large and casual venue offering simple Italian fare. While the constant background gaming sound was somewhat distracting, the tables were positioned for privacy, the decor simple, and the service mixed.
I ordered the pan-fried red snapper with Nicoise style potato, green bean, olive, cherry tomato and Spanish onion salad, and my friend ordered the Gippsland Black Angus striploin with southern spiced chips and side salad. Both came out overdone and dry, however, when I requested a side sauce to accompany the fish, and the waitress deduced the reason, she insisted that the meals be replaced.
The second serve was tasty and great value. My friend proclaimed approvingly the striploin was juicy and so flavourful that she did not need the accompanying mushroom and pepper sauce. My snapper, with a subtle lemon flavour, matched beautifully with the Nicoise salad beneath it. We chose chardonnay and sparkling, respectively, to pair with our meals. Beer or a soft drink are also drink options.

The unbeatable deal includes 4 hour of free parking at Crown, which gives you plenty of time to shop, watch a movie at Village Cinemas, test your luck on the tables or slots, or enjoy the decorations and music in the Atrium. Emporio is not wheelchair accessible, and as it is located in the gaming area of the Casino, diners must be over 18 years old to enter.
