A taste of Eyre Peninsula
The Fresh Fish Place is an award-winning seafood centre in Port Lincoln. Established in 2000, it has become one of the largest seafood suppliers of the Eyre Peninsula region. It sources and processes a variety of seafood products as well as sells fresh seafood directly to the general public from its factory outlet. It also offers behind-the-scenes guided factory tours and cooking classes.

The fish cafe on site serves up locally-sourced seafood from its open kitchen where cooks have exclusive access to freshly received and filleted fish. You can either eat in or take out. While we were there, we decided to eat in and ordered the blue-fin tuna and chips. The tuna was cooked beautifully. Other items on the menu include snapper, flake, garfish, nannygai, flathead, kingfish and whiting as well as squid, prawns, scallops, mussels, abalone, octopus and oysters.
