Do you own a piece of Fremantle history?
Bring your hidden treasures along to the Freo Antique Treasure Show and find out if you have a hidden fortune. The Freo Antique Treasure Show event will be held at Victoria Hall, located on High Street in Fremantle, on Saturday 10th May, 2014, between 10am and 4pm.
Proudly brought to you by the City of Fremantle, as part of the Fremantle Heritage Festival 2014, and presented by 'Fremantle As It Was, As We Were Inc', this event is a fun day out for everyone, offering a range of antique related activities.
The Freo Antique Treasure Show will give people the unique opportunity to get their antiques appraised, free of charge, by local antique dealers.
Visitors to the show can also take part in a variety of other activities including:
1. Enjoy the Freo Photographic Exhibition, jam-packed with historical photos, some never before seen by the public.
2. Take home a special memento of the day. Dress up in some of the vintage clothes available and have your photo taken, then receive a fantastic antique look photo to keep and take home.
3. Browse an assortment of market-style stalls full of interesting items including historical canvas prints and antique jewellery.
4. Take part in the Freo Photo Preservation. Bring along your old photographs of Fremantle to share or to donate. Photographs will be scanned into the local history collections, to preserve an important part of the Fremantle Heritage, for future generations.
The Freo Antique Treasure Show is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.
