Fun at this block party for the whole family
The Sydney Beer Week is on from 26th October to 4th November 2018 and Frenchies Jamboree have teamed up with this event on the last Saturday night. This is being held at The Cannery, 61 Mentmore Avenue, Rosebery, where the award-winning Frenchies Bistro and Brewery will host a block party. It will start at 2.00 pm and go until 9.00 pm.
There will be 11 pop-up bars, six gourmet eateries, yoga sessions, a children's section and live music from Slepka Promo. This is a jamboree for the whole family to enjoy.
If you are a beer lover, you can taste a series of unique brews at Frenchies Bistro and Brewery and their two extra bars, Nine Fingers Brew (winners of the Brewers Unearthed competition) and a special coffee/beer hybrid from Welcome Dose Specialty Coffee for those needing to have both.
If however, beer is not your thing, then there is still something for you! Perhaps you are a wine connoisseur and you could then imbibe in some wine from The Urban Winery? Also, there will be seven other award-winning NSW wine producers within bars by The Drink Hive, and Bucket Boys Bar.
Lunar Yoga Flow This will be on from 3.00 pm on Saturday 3rd November. So, are you into health and yoga? Even if you are not, now is a great time to start as there will be two yoga sessions overlooking the festival with Cannery new kid on the block, Selph Health Studios. Join Selph for a Lunar Flow on the upper level of The Cannery, where you will enjoy gentle movements to the sounds of the Frenchies DJs, overlooking the crowds below.
This class is for everyone and it will help you to find "fluidity", freedom and fun by moving and feeling light. After the class, included in the price is an exclusive Frenchies beer tasting and post-yoga snacks in their private room at 3.45 pm.
Cost is $40 per person, and yoga mats will be provided. You can book and see more information by clicking here.
For children under 18 years of age, there will be a licensed zone for families including face-painting, colouring books and free bags of popcorn, donated by Wholefoods House.
Frenchies Jamboree is free to attend and has been made possible with the support of community partners, Kegstar and The Crafty Pint. Although this event is free to attend, you can register at this site.
