To keep the kids happy and entertained and in addition to the normal teaching syllabus Alliance Francaise de Brisbane has organised some fantastic French Summer Camps for Kids and Teens to begin their adventures into the French language. All the Camps and Workshops are being held at the premises of Alliance Francaise de Brisbane, 262 Montague Road, West End from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 January, 2016.

Summer Holiday Camp - Travel the French Speaking World

Summer Holiday Camp - Voyage en Francophonie
Does your child already speak French? This Camp is for French speaking children from Brisbane to meet other French speaking children to help retain their French language skills, meet new French friends and to (re)discover their French culture.

This Holiday Camp is aimed at kids from 7 to 11 years and will be conducted on Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 January from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. The full price for this great opportunity is $280. For more information on this Camp check out the web site here .

Start French for Pre-Teens, 12 to 14 years
This Summer Camp is especially designed for pre-teens who have no French language at all. They will be placed into small groups for a head start on their French language journey. The Camp runs over four days and as much French as possible will be used throughout the workshop to benefit the learning process.

The Start French for Pre-Teens commences in Room 6, Alliance Francaise de Brisbane, 262 Montague Road, West End on Monday, 18 and runs each day until Thursday, 21. The fun commences at 9.30 am and keeps right on going until 12.00 midday providing a total of 10 hours tuition. Cost for each child is $230. Book your child's place online here .

Get your A Workshop for Teens, 15 to 17 years
This workshop is especially for teenagers who have completed grade 10 French or more, that is, they have received at least 100 hours of French language instruction. During the Camp they will work in small groups to develop their grammatical competencies.

The tuition is designed to support the secondary school curriculum so it will expand the student's vocabulary and structures on the themes they work on at school. The workshop will essentially be conducted in French for the students to benefit from this total immersion over the four days.

The Get your A Workshop for Teens commences at Alliance Francaise de Brisbane, 262 Montague Road, West End on Monday, 18 and runs each day until Thursday, 21. The fun commences at 9.30 am and keeps right on going until 12.00 midday providing a total of 10 hours tuition. Cost for each child is $230. Make a book online here .

Please Note: If you have a student studying French in grade 8 or 9 and would like to have them attend a similar Workshop, please register your interest with Claire at [email protected]. If there is enough interest for lessons at this level Alliance Francaise could open a class on the same format as above.
