Whenever I'm asked, "Parlez-vous Franšais?" I'm forced to answer, "Non, mais j'aimerais bien!"? If you're the same (that is, if you're like me and have no idea what I just wrote), you should get yourself down to Alliance Francaise de Brisbane, 262 Montague Road, West End and join the French Summer Workshops and Courses starting on Monday, 16 and running through until Tuesday, 24 January, 2017.
Should you not understand French at all then you can join the Semi-Intensive Beginners' Course. The course provides a very interesting learning experience for non-speakers and, once completed, gives the student the ability to use French in many situations. For example, you will be able to greet, introduce and meet someone, ask simple questions, pronounce written French and even conjugate basic verbs (I can't even do that in English).
If you think this is the course for you then sign up here for classes to be held from 5.30pm to 8.00pm each evening from Monday, 16 January to Friday, 19 January 2017 at the Alliance Francaise premises, 262 Montague Road, West End. The course provides you with 10 hours of intensive tuition over the 4 days and involves a fee of $210.
If you like the thought of doing that course then check this out!
To make this course simply delicious why not combine your lessons with some tasty French lunches? Book yourself in here to join the course that starts at 9.30am and runs until 1.45pm from Monday, 16 January to Thursday, 19 January, 2017.
This is the French Bistro Lunches option which enables you to undertake the intensive beginners' course and stay on for a sumptuous lunch prepared by French chef and teacher Catherine for an all-in fee of $385 for the whole four days.
The lunches will be set on a different theme each day and relate to different French regions and culinary specialities. You will also get to enjoy a glass of an appropriate fine French wine with your meal. Presented by Catherine, the Alliance Franšaise's chef and teacher, these lunches will really make your studies interesting.
No matter which of the fabulous courses you are doing you can also purchase the magnificent daily French Bistro Lunches as a one-off for $35 each.
The French Bistro Lunches will include discussions in French and English. For more information on this option please call Alliance Francaise on 3844 4600 or email at email@example.com
