Benoît Magimel headlines this acclaimed drama from actor/director Jalil Lespert. It is based on a celebrated novel by award winning French writer Olivier Adam. Magimel stars as Paul, whose wife Sarah (Audrey Tautou) is missing. He relocates to the coast, in an attempt to start over with his two young children, but appears unable to let go of his wife.

[SECTION]La délicatesse (Delicacy)[/SECTION]
This drama/comedy stars Audrey Tautou as Nathalie, a young woman whose life suddenly falls apart after the death of her husband. Years pass and Nathalie now lives a mundane existence, consumed with work and refusing to have fun. However when she meets the awkward Markus (Francois Damiens), she begins to believe in love once again.

This is sure to be a festival favourite.

[SECTION]Café de Flore[/SECTION]
This Canadian drama was well received on the international film festival circuit in late 2011. Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, best known for the wonderful coming of age drama C.R.A.Z.Y., Café de Flore is a drama about love, in all it's forms.

The film stars Kevin Parent, Hélène Florent, Evelyne Brochu and Vanessa Paradis.

This romantic comedy is the latest star studded feature film from actor/director Emmanuel Mouret. The film focuses on the love lives of four different couples, and features an impressive cast, including Pascale Arbillot, François Cluzet, Julie Depardieu and Gaspard Ulliel.

This one is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

[SECTION]Les bien-aimés (Beloved)[/SECTION]
Christophe Honoré returns with this musical/drama starring Catherine Deneuve, her real life daughter Chiara Mastroianni, Ludivine Sagnier, Louis Garrel and Milos Forman.

An international film festival favourite, this will certainly be a popular film during the run of the 2012 French Film Festival.

[SECTION]À bout portant (Point Blank)[/SECTION]
For those who prefer thrillers, do not miss this feature film directed by Fred Cavayé and starring Gilles Lellouche, Roschdy Zem, Gérard Lanvin, and Elena Anaya. This is a high octane action thriller, sure to be a hit with those who love film noir.

[SECTION]Le dernier métro (The Last Metro)[/SECTION]

The French Film Festival 2012 closes with a Truffaut classic, starring Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu. This is a rare opportunity to see this drama on the big screen. This is a major treat for all French film lovers.
