The French love coming to Darwin. And it's a good thing that they do as they have left the gift of great crepes as a result.

Ken's Crepes at Mindil Market onThursdays & Sundays, Nightcliff Market on Sundays; and Parap Market on Saturdays

To get my crepe fix, I would always visit trusty Ken for his crepes. There is always a queue, no matter the time of year. His signature crepes include home made egg, bacon, and tomato chutney and they are scrumptious.

My other favourites were always the trusty Nutella (and I noticed a lot of people had the bananas and Nutella one), and the lemon and sugar. His crepes are tasty, he always has enough crepe burners on the go, and he has a booming business with good reason.

Crepe Escape Darwin Waterfront Promenade

If you're on the waterfront and want a nice place to sit and eat a crepe, then this is your place. The crepes are okay (but not as good as Ken's). It was my go-to place if I had missed out on Ken's crepes. The couches are super comfy, and it is in a clean area.

Otis and James Crepes at Rapid Creek Market on Sundays and Malak Market on Saturdays

These crepe people specialize in more 'gourmet' crepes. They are usually heartily filled and the price is generally more expensive compared than Ken's Crepes. They have a signature crepe, which I tried, and I spent most of my time crunching through the spinach to get to the ham and cheese.

Le Cure Coffee Shop 9/48 Cavanagh Street, Australia Post Office Shop, Mondays to Fridays CBD only closes at 3pm

This was my other go-to place in the city for crepes if I needed a quick French fix. The staff are friendly and they provide water if you eat in. There is usually a queue for coffee here too. It's nice and convenient if you're at work in the city. They have a good basic menu of all the favourites, and I had their smoked salmon crepe a couple of times to break it up and it was nice.

Ken's is by far my favourite. But there are a couple of options if you can't get to Ken's.
