I'm a sucker for a French crepe. I don't know what it is, but a Nutella crepe or a cheese crepe just makes the day better. When the crepe reminds me of the Weihnachtsmarkt in Germany I am even happier.

The more arrogantly French the place is, the more I enjoy it. One should always have to say 'merci beaucoup' with a serve of delicious crepes.

Roule Galette 241 Flinders Lane Melbourne CBD.

I have been here a number of times, and I just keep going back. They have an extensive crepe menu. I'm doing my best to slowly work my way through the menu. Their signature crepe with the truffle oil is to die for. It is perfectly balanced, and it comes dished with a serve of French because it is run by 'Frenchies'. There are not many tables, so if you see a table, grab it. It's a small place and it is always busy.

I recommend getting the Frenchiest of the French crepes here. The crepe taster plate is great to get multiple different flavours. It's not too big, so if you are not overly hungry it's a good choice. The proper bowl of French coffee is my favourite and reminds me of when I was travelling in France. If you're all creped out they also do a tasty croque monsieur.

So French yourself in and say "oh là là" to a crepe. You won't regret it.
