Learn how to cook Classic French Bistro style food at these fantastic
French Cooking Classes. These fun, interesting and informative workshops will be held at the
Matters of Taste Cooking School , located in Bicton, on Wednesday 2nd July, 2014 starting at 6:15pm and on Saturday 9th August, 2014, starting at 9:30am.
This fantastic French cooking workshop focuses on the traditional French techniques and methods. The teacher will take you through the entire process of preparing quality French dishes that you can re-create in your own home.
During this hands-on French cookery class you will learn how to make sizzling thin crêpes, perfectly dressed salads, deliciously tender duck, rich egg creme custard and elegant fruit compote.
The menu for these classes includes classic dishes such as Crêpes, Herbed Cheese, Garlic Mushrooms and Leeks, Slow Cooked Duck Confit, Golden Roasted Potatoes, Salad of Dressed Leaves, Shaved Fennel, Toasted Walnuts and Pear, Classic Vanilla Crème Brulée, and Blackberry Verjuice Compote.
The Classic French Bistro cooking class runs for approximately three hours. When the cooking is finished the whole class gathers together to eat and enjoy a meal of the delicious finished products.
The Classic French Bistro cooking class will cost $125.00 per person. Places are limited so bookings are recommended. Bookings can be made
