Showcasing French culture and all things French, the French Market will be back this year with gourmet food and wine, music and entertainment, cooking demonstrations, kids activities and more. Some of the favourites are crepes, cheese and patisserie. It has been a popular family-friendly event welcoming over 10,000 visitors each year. You can almost enjoy a weekend in France right here at your doorstep. I was there last year and it was indeed buzzing. The patisseries were fantastic too.

This year, the French Market will be held at the Soldiers Memorial Gardens in Unley on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th of November 2017. You can experience it for yourself from 5pm to 10pm on the Friday and again between 10am and 10pm on the Saturday. The Soldiers Memorial Gardens is located at the corner of Unley Road and Thomas Street. It is a free event and everyone is welcome.
