No matter what time of year you visit Fremantle , the place is always buzzing and there is always something different going on. Fremantle has character and is rich with history. It offers something for everyone whether you are looking for a day of shopping, a family lunch, a romantic dinner, drinks with friends, live entertainment, or a leisurely Sunday Breakfast.



If you're looking for an afternoon of shopping, there's no place like Fremantle. There is a wide variety of shops within the town area including everything from large department stores to small specialty stores.

There are several popular shopping hotspots that you should definitely check out next time you visit Fremantle.

Wray Avenue. Wray Avenue is an up and coming retail strip in Fremantle. You will find everything from gift-ware, food, fashion, health care, and much more in the many unique stores on this strip. There are also lots of cosy cafes where you can soak up the sun and the atmosphere.

Atwell Arcade. One of Fremantles oldest shopping malls, Atwell Arcade is a little hidden gem. The arcade houses an assortment of shops including vintage stores, fashion shops, a lolly shop, cafe, tea rooms, a chocolate shop and a dentist.

Fremantle Woolstores. Fremantle Woolstores, on Cantonment Street, is a shopping centre housing over thirty specialty stores and a large supermarket. You will find all your shopping needs at the Woolstores including fresh food, fashion and hair stylists, jewellery, crafts, homewares, electronics, food and refreshments and much more.

Fremantle Markets . The Fremantle Markets is a long established shopping destination and one of the largest and best markets in Western Australia. It has a reputation for quality goods and products including fresh food, gifts, craft items, clothes, jewellery, shoes and more. There is a great range of food available so you can enjoy a delicious lunch, a snack or a coffee at the Fremantle Markets.



West End on High Street. High Street is the main street running through Fremantle. The West End of High Street is home to a range of great stores selling fashion, furniture, designer items, gift-wear, art, books and more. There are also a few lively cafes on this shopping strip, where you can enjoy a coffee or a relaxing lunch.

South Terrace Piazza. South Terrace Piazza is home to an assortment of top quality cafes and restaurants but it also offers many specialty stores including clothing stores and hair and beauty salons. The Pickled Fairy and Flying Teapots are also located in this Piazza, both places are wonderful and very popular with children and adults alike.
