The exact venue is the Norm McKenzie Reserve, Riverside Road, East Fremantle. This is just up from the Swan Yacht Clu, and just before "Eat Greek". There is public parking on the verge opposite or car-parks at the market car-park, Tonkins Park or Wauhop Rd.
Disabled parking is available in the adjacent Rowing Club car-park, under the direction of LIONS members.
Entry is free, however, they ask for a gold coin donation, and monies collected from stallholders, as well as these gold coin donations, will all go 100% towards charities (local or humanity) as advised for that month.
These markets are a community event, supported by The Town of East Fremantle. They are aimed at helping the community and all proceeds go to worthwhile charities.
Pets are even welcome here, as long as they are on a lead. It will be a family market with some tremendous stall holders!
There will be reasonably priced food available from the Lions or Scouts barbecue and from the coffee and food stalls.
Also the local cafes - Eat Greek and Zephers Restaurants are just a short walk away, as is the Swan Yacht Club.
The Riverside Markets are a great place to take the children, as they can run around and play, especially as the weather heats up, as this venue is nice and cool. There is also a park playground, a beach, things to look at, and a bit of bushland.
The Sea Scouts and Rowing Club are also nearby, as well as other cafes and walks, all close by.
This market has the very best venue in Perth for leisure-time with family and friends! Make sure you bring the family and perhaps start to buy those quirky Christmas gifts here.
