Strictly a tour for the kids!
Fremantle Prison, the state's only World Heritage listed building, is renowned for its terrifying torchlight and (not quite so frightening) daylight tours.
Now it's time for a tour for the children - just in time for the school holidays!
This tour is exclusively for children aged between five and 12 years. The prison website does suggest that as the tour is strictly for kids, parents could "do time" on the Doing Time Tour, whilst waiting for their offspring - if they haven't managed to plan their own great escape!
The School Holiday Escape Tour will take children on a journey, with fantastic tales of the many hair raising attempted escapes throughout the jails' long and spine chilling history. There's no questioning that this formidable building has some seriously eerie vibes. Their imaginations will be whipped into a frenzy and they'll be talking about it for weeks!
The School Holiday Escape Tour runs for an hour and a half, commencing at 10am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 15 to April 24. Incredibly, this tour is only $10.00. A pittance for a mornings' serenity! As numbers are strictly limited, booking and pre-payment is essential - you don't want to miss out!
