This Easter long weekend, the City of Fremantle will be transformed into the world's biggest street theatre when the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival returns from Friday, 10 April 2020 to Monday, 13 April 2020. An annual Easter tradition, the festival is popular within the historical port city and is a wonderful opportunity to visit the City of Fremantle and see what it has to offer.

The Fremantle International Street Arts Festival features some of the best local and international street performers performing a range of spectacular outdoor shows, such as busking, street theatre, comedy and circus. The performances will take place on the streets of the City of Fremantle and will be FREE to watch and suitable for people of all ages. The Fremantle International Street Arts Festival began in 1999 as a way to celebrate the local busking culture within Fremantle. The festival has only grown since then and is now a celebration of everything that is weird and wonderful about the City of Fremantle.

There will be limited parking available during the festival so people are encouraged to take public transport. For car park locations within the City of Fremantle, please click here

The 2020 Festival Map highlights the main streets were performances will be located and also shows where public transport, parking, and toilets (including wheelchair accessible) are located within the City of Fremantle and where the road closures will be.
