Perfect for visitors with limited time
Did you know that the City of Fremantle produces a series of walking and cycling trails around Fremantle? These self-guided routes give information about various parts of the Port City, but the best one in my opinion is the Discovery Trail.
The Discovery Trail starts at the Fremantle Railway Station
Starting from the Fremantle Railway Station, over a distance of nearly 6km, this walking trail takes you to 21 attractions - perfect for visitors with limited time. The trail includes all the iconic tourist attractions, such as the Fremantle Markets, the Cappuccino Strip, Fremantle Prison and the Maritime Museum, but it also takes you to parks, the heritage-listed West End and Bather's Beach. It finishes at the Fremantle Arts Centre.
The Discovery Trail ends at the Fremantle Arts Centre
The list of places is included at the end of this article and you can download the information about each of them here:https://images.impartmedia.com/visitfremantle.com.au/Discovery_Trail_January_2020.pdf

The trail is listed as taking 1 hour 22 minutes, but I would allow yourself a lot longer so you can stop off at places along the way. There's always something exciting happening in Fremantle, and don't forget to sample the great coffee that Fremantle is renowned for.
