World Ranger Day commemorates rangers killed or injured in the line of duty, and celebrates the work rangers do to protect the world’s natural and cultural treasure. To celebrate World Ranger Day in Melbourne, the City of Melbourne and the Thin Green Line Foundation have teamed up to provide a FREE event that highlights the often unsung work of park rangers throughout the world. This event is an opportunity to hear exciting and dangerous stories about the dedication of rangers across the globe from a team of experts including award-winning conservationist and founder of the Thin Green Line Sean Willmore, City of Melbourne Park Rangers Coordinator Danielle Thomas, and Chief Executive Officer of Parks Victoria Dr Bill.
