Help and Healing on the Spiritual Path (Through the Teaching of Bruno Groening)

Commencing 12:30pm on January 30, March 12th, April 23rd, June 4th, July 16th, August 27th, October 8th and November 19, free lectures are being held "Help and Healing on the Spiritual Path through the teachings of Bruno Groening .



Bruno Groening was born in Danzig, West Prussia now known as Poland in May 1906. He began his working life as a carpenter and was conscripted during World War II . He came close to be executed as he refused to kill another human being. He had no formal medical training. He came to public attention in 1949 when the father of a young boy named Dieter Hulsmann claimed that Bruno had healed his son of muscular dystrophy . Newspapers ran stories of him as his notoriety increased.

He claimed that his ideas were not a new teaching. He stated that it was an ancient knowledge that had been lost and that people had forgotten the most important thing, that there is a Higher Power or Force to assist in people's healings. At the centre of his teachings was "love" for God and for others. He stated that we were created in love and can only live in love.



He regarded health as a natural state and maintained that we could all live healthy by tuning in to a divine life force or energy that he called " Heilstrom ". He schooled other healers in a technique called "einstellen", which means tuning in. He believed we were like batteries that used energy. The practice of einstelle consists of sitting in an upright position with arms and legs uncrossed and palms facing upwards. It insisted that the back must be straight and not to have any kind of backrest. The practice consists of having the wish to receive the "helistrom" and having faith that healing is possible, then focusing on the body and observing any sensations and feelings within. Another important aspect was for people not to have negative thoughts or for them to dwell on their illnesses as this would interfere with the healing process. He stated that it was not important what religion you believed, only to be connected to God is all that is required.

Over his healing life he faced many legal challenges for in many towns he was forbidden to heal or speak to people and he went to trial twice. He died at the age of 52 in 1959.



After his death many associations were formed to carry on his work and teach people the essence of his belief in health for everyone. In 1979 " The Circle of Friends " was founded by Grete Hausler who herself was a patient of Groening. The Circle of Friends is the largest organisation of the Groening Associations and has produced two movies viz. The Miracle Apostle and The Bruno Groening Phenomena.



In the past decades skilled workers have been able to record and document thousands of recoveries through his teachings. These lectures are coming to Brisbane to spread the word of his teachings and assist those who also want to expand their knowledge in healing others. The free lectures will be held at the Annerley Hall , 8 Waldheim Street Annerley at the above dates. There is an Australian contact on the website where you can email or telephone to book a seat at the event. I would certainly get in early as I'm sure there will be a lot of people wanting to attend. I could not find times for the lectures on their website so that question should be asked when contacting The Circle of Friends.
