Bookshop Darwin, in a partnership with Live Darwin and NT Arts, us hosting a free arts and writing workshop for children to Darwin Mall on 30 Smith Street Darwin 0800. Bring all young budding artists to the mall in the city from 10am up to 12pm on Saturdays and join in for storytelling and fun workshops.





On Saturday 16th September 2017, Martia Albers, who is an artist known for her vibrant paintings, will show children how to do "Colourful Creatures in the Mall". Her workshop will focus on an interpreting a city panorama. This workshop is suitable for children aged 7 to 11 years old.





Marnie Jay, a professional artist and illustrator, will be running a painting workshop that explores the heritage listed buildings of Darwin Mall on Saturday 23rd September 2017. The "Our City: Buildings Old and Imagined" workshop is suitable for children aged 8 to 13 years old.

"A Sense of Place", is a writing workshop by award-winning novelist Claire Atkins which will be held on Saturday 14th October 2017. Claire Atkins invites all aspiring writers aged from 14 to 17 years old to join her in this workshop.
