One of the reasons why Melbourne is such a liveable city has to be the variety of healthy lifestyle choices available. In addition to the farmers markets and quality produce, there are fitness classes in the city, Tai Chi sessions in Docklands, meditation in Federation Square and Zumba at Boyd Community Hub.

If none of the above interests you, there's always weekly walks in the city and different Melbourne suburbs conducted by The Happiness Hunter as a way to stay active and relieve stress. Best of all, the walks are FREE to join. The walks even take place as far out as Mornington Peninsula and Mount Dandenong.

These sound fantastic although I would not be so ambitious as to attempt the 1,000 steps.

Does a group/walks exist in the northern suburbs - Darebin area? I’d appreciate details please, and if not, is it possible to start a group, and if so, how does one go about it? Many thanks.
