Set yourself free from worry learning the art of mindfulness
Is your life becoming stressed? Are you worrying too much? If so, you may like to attend the weekly mindfulness workshops at West End. Every Tuesday from 7:30pm-8:30pm, West End Natural Therapies Centre run a free Mindfulness Circle and everyone is welcome.
Mindfulness is about training your mind to stay in the present moment of and this is achieved through various exercises allowing you to calmly acknowledge all that is happening in your life and accepting your thoughts and feelings about the situations. You will be guided on how to achieve this over the nights you attend and you will also be guided through different meditations. There is no right or wrong way to think or feel, when you practice mindfulness your thoughts have the ability to tune into what you are sensing in the present moment, rather than going over and over the past or creating obstacles in your future.

As Carl Jung said "There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People do anything, no matter how absurd, to avoid facing their own soul". Once you learn how to train your mind to enjoy the benefits of mindfulness, you will no longer feel the urge to run when facing your inner thoughts and anguish. Your worries will simply dissolve.
West End Natural Therapies also offer other mindful workshops which include an eight-week Mindfulness-based Person Growth Program, a four-week course of Mindfulness Meditation, Mindful Fridays where participants can share their thoughts and explore ways to assist you in everyday life, and Loving Kindness class. Prices for these additional mindful workshops can be located on their website.
