Fed Square comes alive with the Mid-Autumn Festival. A celebration with a 3,000-year history in China, it is also widely celebrated by Chinese communities in other parts of Asia including Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. The Vietnamese Children's Lantern Festival is part of this cultural celebration where families come together with dancing, singing, storytelling, a lantern parade, children's lantern-making workshops and eating moon cakes.
