A day with the kids can be a nightmare at times. The list below is perfect for families who are looking for things to do in Brisbane without breaking the bank!
There is plenty of attractions to keep all ages and interests happy with the Free Top Hot Spots for Kids List below:
1. Roma Street Parklands
Where: Parkland Boulevard, Brisbane When: All year round Details: This inner-city oasis offers an array of things to do from relaxing to spending a few hours exploring and wandering the winding nature tracks through lush subtropical landscapes, past duck ponds teeming with birdlife, turtles and lizards. There is also a children's playground and plenty of space for picnics on the manicured lawns. Tip: Hop on the Parkland Explorer Train. 2. Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre Where: 60 Mount Nebo Rd, The Gap When: All year round
Details: Located just 12kms from Brisbane's CBD this nature attraction features up-close animal experiences. At the wildlife centre the little ones can meet a platypus, quoll and wombat, or even pet a reptile during the ranger guided talks and tours held every weekend. 3. Brisbane Botanic Gardens Where: Mount-Coot-tha Rd, Toowong When: All year round
Details: Situated on 56-hectares, there is certainly no shortage of flora and fauna at this botanic garden! The kids will love the walk along the Hide 'n' Seek Children's Trail. The trail is suited for the whole family and features plenty of surprises on the way as well as plant facts.

4. South Bank Parklands

Details: This attraction is a children's wonderland!
