Film Series - Cinema 1968 - Wednesdays 2pm & 7.15pm, Sundays 2pm
50 years ago, the politics and culture was reshaped in a series of dramatic events, impacting cultures throughout the Eastern and Western worlds. Protests, strikes, war and rebellions changed countries from France and Prague to Japan, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

As people fought for change, filmmakers used their artform to declare a bold political expression, as the Third Cinema movement spread throughout the world's theatres. Relive this powerful age of filmmaking at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, with 10 films shown, spanning multiple genres. Visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales website for details.
