As you know, Adelaide Fringe and Adelaide Festival are packed with visual arts, music, installations and events this March. You'll have plenty of free things to do. Jump on a walking tour through the streets of Port Adelaide to discover both new and old Wonderwalls murals. Led by artist Hari Koutlakis, the tours will take off from Princess Amelia Laneway on Saturday the 4th. Other activities in the laneway include live performances, visual installation and VR, live art, a bar and more.

Celebrate the importance of dogs in your life with wondrously-shaped inflatables at Lost Dogs Disco in Mount Barker. The installation will showcase bursts of bright colours as well as warm buzzing sounds. Also part of the Adelaide Festival is Unvanished , an artistic collaboration between Barkindji artist Kent Morris, Studio John Fish and James Henry that connects buildings with Indigenous design elements. It can be found in the Festival Plaza at Adelaide Festival Centre. If you're there on Friday the 3rd, why not join in the celebration at Elder Park too? Featuring a choir of Aboriginal and Torres Strait teenage singers, Spinifex Gum is set to stun audiences once again. They sing in both English and Yindjibarndi. From Saturday the 4th to Thursday the 9th, you can reflect on the world and savour conversations at Adelaide Writers' Week .

The festival season continues in Rundle Mall . You'll have the opportunity to shop until 7pm on Saturdays as well as enjoy musicians, artists, circus acts, dance, acrobatics, mind-bending feats and the Immersive Garden installation by Australian technology artists Skunk Control. Otherwise, you could simply unleash yourself at the East End 's biggest street party, get moving with dance music at Ayers House 's lawn party, be inspired by classical music played on the Casavant Freres pipe organ at St Francis Xavier's Cathedral or enjoy the showcase atmosphere at Adelaide Airport .

Over the first weekend, those living in the northeastern suburbs won't want to miss City of Tea Tree Gully's Summer Garden Festival . A comedy extravaganza has been planned for Friday night while Saturday will bring with it some roving performances, hilarious shows and funky musicians. A range of food trucks will also be onsite to cater for your culinary needs. Then, on Saturday the 11th, Joslin Reserve will come alive with melodies from SeaStar Rock, Fizzy Pop and others as part of Concerts in the Park .

Ovation of the Seas is sailing to and from Outer Harbor on Monday the 6th. Lady Ruthven Reserve offers great viewing platforms to admire this big and bold ship. Later in the month, Grand Princess also returns for the final time this cruising season. As for Brickman's LEGO RSV Nuyina , it has yet to set sail from the South Australian Museum if you'd like to catch a glimpse of the massive 3-metre-long model.

The Oaklands Wetland tour has unfortunately sold out for March, but future months are still available. Want to venture further instead? Bunganditj elder Uncle Ken Jones is leading a nature walk at Naracoorte Caves National Park on Friday the 10th. During the walk, you will get to smell, touch and taste local plants. You are also welcome to join members of the Naracoorte Camera Club on Wednesday the 8th for a cave photography opportunity in Alexandra Cave. Spots are limited, so do be quick to book if you're interested.
