The council sure has done the right thing for Brisbane dwellers and tourists here! This free ferry service runs from Eagle St Pier to New Farm, Kangaroo Point and North Quay. A great way to avoid the traffic and cruise along the river to the city, or take your overseas or interstate relatives visitors, or just for a fun family free outing of heading out onto the river for free.

The City Loop also run by the Brisbane City Council Circles the city at no cost. Check the website for timetables.

Book to join a Guided Walk in Roma Street Parklands.
Completely free and a great way to get acquainted with the fantastic array of tropical flora. Take the family and enjoy a picnic lunch after the walk.

The Jazz Cafe
Organised monthly this Jazz event is set within a pop up jazz cafe each month in the foyer of the Griffith Conservatorium.

The Queensland Art Gallery
A beautiful iconic piece of architecture with art to enjoy at no charge

The QAG cafe is situated within the gallery and offers truly great affordable food and coffee.

Need some Vitamin D? Head to the world's only street beach.
Stretch out on the sand and with the weather we are having lately
do some laps in the lagoon pool.

State Library of Queensland: Free newspapers to peruse and computers to utilise for up to 3 hours.

It's easy to become a member and utilise this brilliantly designed library facilities free to the public.
