The dress code is formal and all are welcome to attend and support this great cause.

Please email for bookings.

About Free the Bears

Free the bears is a non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting, preserving and enriching the lives of bears as well as creating positive change and employment within the local communities of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Free the Bears also provides support to sanctuaries in Thailand, Indonesia and India. The fund was founded by Mary Hutton in 1995, with the head office based in Perth.

There are great challenges ahead as Free the Bears strive to protect wild bears from the many threats around them. The single greatest threat to the ongoing survival of bears in Asia is the black market trade in wildlife.

Each country faces a unique set of issues to overcome, including bear bile farming, poaching and the restaurant trade. Free the Bears employ a range of strategies including environmental education, conservation research and strengthened law enforcement to ensure that they achieve their mission to protect, preserve and enrich the lives of bears throughout the world.

With each rescued bear potentially requiring more than thirty years of specialist care in their sanctuaries, your support will allow Free the Bears to house all of the new arrivals and improve facilities for the growing population of rescued bears. Every cent donated to Free the Bears is sent directly to their overseas projects as part of their 100% guarantee.
