Free The Bears Fund was founded by Mary Hutton, who petitioned for bears to be freed after watching a current affairs TV program in 1993. In 1995, it was registered as a non-for profit charity and since then, she has continued with her amazing work around the globe supporting many projects such as rehabilitating strayed bear cubs in the Russian Far East and examining wild bears in Ecuador. With a total of 812 bears saved so far from India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Indonesia, Free The Bears Fund is determined to accomplish their mission even though bigger challenges await.
See and meet Mary Hutton in the flesh and hear what this extraordinary woman has to say about their diverse sanctuaries, the dilemmas these gorgeous endangered animals face and what you can do to assist them. Another guest speaker to give you insightful information will be Brooke Squires of International Partnerships at Zoos Victoria.
There will be brilliant entertainment with MC Comedian Matt Grantham and other awesome musicians providing live music, exciting silent auctions, pretty merchandise, raffle prizes and so much more! So gather your friends and come for a great night for a great cause.
Tickets are $65 per person which includes canapés and grazing dishes. Bookings can be made by credit card, direct deposit or by completing a payment form. Stash your wallet with cash as purchases can be made with cash only, with the exception of large purchases. 100% of the proceeds will go to Free The Bears Fund.
