Come along to a workshop that'll teach you how to create a bush landscape with ground covers, creepers, shrubs, bushes and trees. It's a FREE event, but you need to REGISTER to attend the Sustainable Native Gardens & Design Workshop on Saturday 13 April 2019 from 10.30am to 12pm at Spearwood Library, 9 Coleville Crescent, Spearwood.

There are many beautiful Australian native plants that are perfectly suited to our soils and rainfalls. It's a misconception that a beautiful, lush and cottage style garden cannot be achieved with native plants. Hence if you've been hesitating about incorporating them into your garden design, now's a good time to learn how.

You'll find the answers to what makes our Australian natives; especially the West Australian natives so unique and important. In this climate of scarcity of water, it makes perfect sense to use our natives to not just reduce your watering bill, but to bring in the beautiful native wildlife, and support the soil. You'll get information on how to water and fertilise and where to go to get a list of plants suited to your area.
