The City of Melville has organised some fantastic free summer festival events for everyone to enjoy over the coming months. There are free movie nights, music concerts, activities and community events going on all summer. Most of them are free or have a minimal cost involved, so it's great value and entertainment for all the family.
Grab a blanket or chairs and a picnic and bring the family along to the free summer movie nights. A great evening of fun for all the family with activities starting at 6.30pm and the film being shown around 7.30pm
The Free Sculpture Walk was introduced by The City of Melville in 2004, at Piney Lakes Reserve, as part of the Melville Festival. This popular exhibition is now shown at a different venue each year. This year the temporary exhibition will be in Wireless Hill, during February and March, and features both professional and amateur artists and serves to showcase 15 brand new sculptures produced by talented local artists.
Bring along a picnic and enjoy this picturesque location with the family as you explore these wonderful sculptures.
