Airport Village has evolved into something new ... something called Skygate. To celebrate, Skygate is holding free Origami Workshops on Saturday 25 May from 10am to 3pm. Come and join in the fun!
Skygate is a lively retail, commercial and lifestyle precinct with fashion, food, art and leisure. Not only will you find more than 130 retail, cafe and dining selections, but also a 4.5 star hotel, a medical centre as well as childcare centres. With extended trading hours and free parking, where else would you rather be?
So what is origami? Well, it is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. It is not as boring as it sounds. In fact, it is quite addictive. Once you start, you can't stop. Come and see for yourself at this workshop.
The Skygate Origami Workshops are suitable for children and adults. Come and learn how to make their special origami butterflies. With help from Tiny Art, a Brisbane art school, you're bound to have some fun.
What's more, if you come early, between 10am and 12pm, you'll see the B105 Street Team visiting Skygate. Come and see the Street Team and grab some freebies!
