FREE School Holiday Activities at Westfield Southland this Spring

Westfield Southland have announced their FREE school holiday program this coming Spring 2014, with a range of 'no stress, no mess' activities to keep the kids busy.

Planes, Fire & Rescue Zone



To celebrate the release of Disney's new Planes movie sequel there will be a PlayStation Interactive Area set up during the first week of the holidays. There will be paper plane making and decorating, a Fire and Rescue interactive bowling game and a fantastic Disney Planes remote control track to entertain the whole family.

When: 22 - 26 September. 11am - 2pm.
Where: Level 2, near Village Cinemas

Learn Karate Skills with GKR Karate



If you'd like your child to try out Karate, now is the time to do so with a skill with workshop hosted by GKR Karate on level 1. Experts will teach non-contact self-defence, anti-bullying and safety awareness techniques, in a fun and safe way.

When: 22 - 28 September. 10am - 4pm.
Where: Level 1, near Coles

**St Kilda Footy Fever Handball Comp and Interactive Zone

Join a handball contest with The Saints! See how your kids size up to sporting stars and learn some of their pre-game rituals. The Saints Man mascot might also make an appearance.

When: 25 - 26 September & 2 - 3 October. 11am - 2pm.
Where: Level 3, near Rebel Sports

Muppets Clay Figurine Workshop



Bring your children along to the Muppets: Most Wanted workshop, where they will create their very own Kermit or Miss Piggy to take home and admire. Made with air-dry materials, no heating required.

When: 29 September - 3 October. 11am - 2pm
Where: Level 1, near Coles

Mini Fashionista Thong Clip Decorating



No school holiday program at Westfield Southland is complete without a mini fashionista activity, and in this case the kids will be gearing up for summer with a fun thong clip decorating workshop.

When: 29 September - 4 October. 11am - 2pm

Cookie Decorating with Muffin Break **

Yum yum, the cookies are out and ready to be decorated with lollies and icing. Places are limited, book in with Muffin Break so you don't miss out.



When: 30 September (one day only). 11am
Where: Level 3, near Food Court
