The three movies shown are some of the best of the era and their themes and messages are still relevant for today. The cinema opens at 6:30 pm and the movie starts at 7:45 pm.

7th March, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial

The movie on Wednesday, 7th March is E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, a timeless classic and one of the best family movies of all time. It was first released in 1982, only 36 years ago and belongs to the science fiction genre. It was directed by Steven Spielberg, which accounts for the high standard of cinema photography. The story is one of a troubled child, who is a bit of a loner, who helps an alien return home.

E.T. is rated PG where parental guidance is recommended. It is a family film and one that would be enjoyed by the whole family. If you want to book tickets, log onto the following website .

14th March, Out Of Africa

The following Wednesday, March 14th, Out Of Africa is screening. Out Of Arica is a good old fashion romance. The movie was directed by Sydney Pollack and stars Robert Redford and Meryl Streep. At the time it won 7 Oscars and Streep was nominated for "Best Actress". You can't get better credentials than that. Streep plays a Danish Baroness, who joins her husband in Africa. There she finds out about her husband's infidelity. She meets Deny, a hunter, and so begins a forbidden love affair. The film is set against the amazing scenery of Kenya.
