Movies for Everyone
Settling back on your picnic chair and enjoying an outdoor movie has to be one of summer's little pleasures. But it's even better when it's FREE. Strathfield Movies in the Park is a free movie event for all ages. It will run on selected Saturday nights until April next year so you have plenty of time to catch a free flick.
Cinderella - Saturday, 12 December 2015, movie starts at 7:30pm
Rabbit Proof Fence - Saturday, 23 January 2016, movie starts at 7:30pm

Make sure you pack a rug or chair, a picnic and some movie treats. There will be food and drinks available to purchase including tea and coffee, popcorn, ice cream and snacks.
You will find Movies in the Park at Strathfield Park, which is between Homebush Road and Chalmers Road, Strathfield. Movies in the Park utilises the area around the rotunda, off Homebush Road so keep an eye out for it.
To get there you can jump on a train to Strathfield Station and it is a 20-25 minute walk to the Park. Or bus 483 runs from Strathfield Station and stops along Wallis Avenue for a short walk to Strathfield Park.
If you are coming by car you can park on Homebush Road and Chalmers Road (no parking fees).
Make sure you check their facebook page before heading out to get wet weather updates and cancellations.
