I'm a South Australian who has a love for food and all things local. I love to write about my experiences and sharing them with others so they can enjoy too!
Event:
Who knows what you'll be folding next
This free event will teach you the ancient art of Origami - the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures, with Kara Gillett at Port Adelaide Library on Saturday 17th March 2018 from 10:00am until 12:30pm.

In this session, which is for age group 16 years and above, learn how to make large scale paper flowers and take the opportunity for others to see, leaving them on display at the library for the next two weeks (but only if you want to).

Did you know that origami helps teach skills like geometry, thinking skills, fractions, problem solving, and fun science? Even a pizza box is origami in its own right!

Have some fun at this free event, learning something new, and you never know, you may be showing off your newfound skills on the dinner table at your next party event!

Book your space online here.
