Nunga Screen Film Festival 2023
Nunga Screen, held annually during Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week. It will screen a free short film showcase that shares and celebrates First Nations culture, stories and language, through film.

To celebrate Refugee Week 2023, Nunga Screen will feature an entertaining program of independent short films for all ages from emerging to more established filmmakers.

There will be 2 sessions with the first session starting at 11 am and the second session will be starting at 7 pm. This event will take place at Institute Hall, First Floor, Gawler Civic Centre, 89-91 Murray Street, Gawler, on Thursday, 1 June 2023. Both sessions will be preceded by live music and Acknowledgement of Country by Scott Rathman JNR, so get there a little early.

First Friday Classic Film Club at Tea Tree Gully Library: Animal Farm
City of Tea Tree Gully Library at 571 Montague Road, Modbury, will host First Friday Classic Film Club on Friday, 2 June 2023, starting from 2 pm to 4 pm. Animal Farm (1954) will be screened at the library's relaxed reading area. This cartoon movie is about animals on the farm of a drunken Mr Jones, who rebel against him and overthrow him, only to fight for power among themselves. This movie is rated PG. Please book here .



Hub Movie Club - Hub Library
Onkaparinga Libraries (Hub Library) at Hub Drive, Aberfoyle Park, will have free community movie screening on:
1. Monday, 5 June 2023, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm
2. Thursday, 15 June 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm

Movie Matinee - Noarlunga Library
Come and enjoy an entertaining film at Noarlunga Library pop-up cinema, located at Hannah Road, Noarlunga Centre. Films are screened 2-3 times a month, starting at 1.30pm. This month's movie screenings are:

Friday Flicks- Classic Movies at the Stirling Library this Winter
Casablanca (1942) will be screened at Coventry Library Stirling, 63 Mount Barker Road, Stirling, on Friday, 9 June 2023, starting from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Casablanca is about a nightclub owner in Casablanca that agrees to help his former lover and her husband. Soon, her feelings for the nightclub owner resurface and she finds herself renewing her love for him. This movie is rated PG. No booking is necessary. Movie Matinees - Aldinga Library
On the last Friday of the month, join Aldinga Library at 11 Central Way, Aldinga Beach, for an afternoon of movie magic, screening popular new releases and classics, just for movie lovers. This month, Movie Matinees at Aldinga Library will be on on Friday, 30 June 2023, starting at 2pm until 4pm. Coffee, tea, and biscuits are provided for each session.
