During Mental Health Awareness Week in Perth, you are invited to a free evidence-based Stress Buster Workshop to learn how research in Australia and overseas is indicating that Sahaja Yoga meditation can improve physical and mental wellbeing to reduce stress.
Strategies currently available to tackle work stress often have limited effectiveness. A recent study shows that a simple, mental silence orientated meditation skill reduces stress significantly more than other, often more expensive, approaches to stress management.
Mental silence meditation was introduced to patients suffering from depression, anxiety, menopause and headaches at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney and showed significant improvement.
Join the free 1.5 hour workshop from 2pm to 3:30pm on 8 October at the City of Perth Library Auditorium, 573 Hay Street Perth. Limited seating available, please ring 1300 724 252 to secure your place.
If you are unable to attend the free workshop on 8 October, you can attend the
2 hour workshop from 3pm at 7 October at 1254 O'Brien Road, Gidgegannup.
These meditation classes cater for people of all experience levels and are run in a relaxed environment. No stretches or physical exercises are involved in learning this simple yet effective technique.
