Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you. I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.
A beautiful way to start the new year
Ever been curious about meditation but a little scared to try? Here's your chance to join a free meditation session in Melbourne, at Federation Square.

Meditation has been known to provide such benefits as a feeling of calmness, clarity of the mind and the ability to develop better concentration and positivity.

International Buddhist teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will lead this session. Gen-la is Resident Teacher at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, the Mother Center of Kadampa Buddhism, and regularly teaches at Festivals and Dharma Celebrations throughout the world.

Learn how each of us can control our minds to enjoy lasting contentment and happiness.

"when the turbulence of distracting thoughts
subsides and our mind becomes still,
a deep happiness and contentment naturally
arises from within"
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
from the book 'The New Meditation Handbook'

Is 2013 your year of happiness and positivity? This is a good place to start.
