Stop your monkey mind
free meditation classes

Free meditation classes have begun at Homebush Public School on Friday nights. Run by Sahaja Yoga, they invite you to experience self-realisation, and learn simple ways to escape the constant demands going on in your mind. Meditation reduces stress, lowers your blood pressure and leaves you feeling fantastic. What better way to start your weekend?

The classes are suitable for beginners or regular meditators. You can join anytime, and they go through the school term. Sahaja Yoga offers a meditation technique aiming to raise your kundalini, which is the energy at the base of your spine. When released, it charges through your chakras (energy centres), throughout your body. When this occurs, it is reported to give you more energy, peace and understanding. Meet new people, who are as keen to chill out as you. Imagine being able to leave the mental chatter behind. Ah!
