There is something for everyone at these markets listed below. Pick up some unique finds with great prices.

Check out the list below for some of the best markets in and near Brisbane:

1. The Newmarket Creative Markets
When: 1 February 2015- 3 May 2015: 8am-12pm
Where: Newmarket Bowls Club, 212 Ashgrove Ave, Brisbane
Details: These markets boast unique stalls catering for everyone. You'll find stalls ranging from fresh flowers, women's fashion, jewellery, handmade items, kids toys, dog treats, family photography, lifestyle products and much more. There will be live music, a kids play area and of course food galore! For all dates see website.

2. Sunday Market
When: 1, 8 & 15 February 2015: 6am-11am
Where: Redcliffe Showgrounds, Scarborough Rd, Redcliffe
Details: Grab a bargain from an assortment of pre-loved clothes for all ages, toys, books and tools galore. There are handmade arts & crafts, garden products and fresh produce. There is a sausage sizzle, hot chips and hot drinks.

3. The Collective Markets
When: 6 February 2015 12 June 2015: From 9am
Where: Southbank Parklands, Grey St, South Brisbane
Details: Discover objects you will treasure forever at The Collective Markets. There are plenty of unique goods, eclectic fashions, handmade jewellery, art and stylish homewares. There is live music and cafes near by to take a break.

4. The Handmade Market Expo
When: 1 March 2015- 6 December 2015: 9am-2pm
Where: Morayfield Sports & Events Centre, 298 Morayfield Rd, Brisbane
Details: Held on the first Sunday of the month, these indoor markets have everything handmade from making and baking to growing. Some of the stalls consist of children's wear, home decor, jewellery, stationary, natural soaps, leather-work, wood work, artworks, tasty delights such as cupcakes and fudge, candles and plenty more. There is free parking.

5. BrisStyle Indie Markets
When: 9 May 2015- 14 November 2015: 9am-3pm
Where: City Hall, Brisbane City
Details: This market has plenty of handmade items from some of Brisbane's most talented makers. You will find homewares, vintage styled fashion, ladies & mens wear, accessories, children's wear, art, jewellery, beauty products and much more. See website for all dates.

6. Eat Street Markets
When: 1 February 2015- December 2015: 4pm-10pm Every Friday & Saturday)
Where: Hamilton Wharf, Macarthur Ave, Hamilton (located near the Northshore Hamilton Ferry Terminal)
Details: With 60 shipping containers reconfigured as mini restaurants offering a selection of delicious international dishes, it will certainly keep your taste buds coming back for more. There are live performances and music.



7. Boundary Street Markets West End
When: February 2015- December 2015: Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Friday: 4pm-10pm, Saturday: 10am-10pm & Sunday: 10am-3pm
Where: Cnr Boundary & Mollison Streets, West End
Details: Every Friday these markets come alive with street food, live music and indoor pop-up shops, and on Saturday the street foods continue with an evening of live bands keeping you entertained. On Sunday, the indoor pop-up shops return as well as the street food.

8. Riverside at the Pier Markets
When: February 2015- December 2015: Every Sunday: 7am-3pm
Where: Waterfront Place, 1 Eagle St, Brisbane
Details: This is a popular gathering place for both locals and tourists looking for a massive range of arts, crafts, clothing and food. There are dozens of market stalls ranging from local and imported handcrafts, food & beverage stalls, and plenty more. There are street performers and music.

9. Young Designers Market
When: February 2015- December 2015: Every 1st Sunday of the month: 10am-4pm
Where: Little Stanley St, South Bank
Details: These markets bring the opportunity to pick up some original glad rags and accessories. There is eco fashion, vintage clothing, underwear, urban outwear, jewellery, baby wear and plenty more unique items.

10. Brisbane Artisan Markets
When: April 2015- December 2015: 2nd Saturday of each month: 9am-2pm
Where: Polish Club, 10 Marie Street, Milton 4064
Details: Dubbed 'Brisbane Artisan Markets', this monthly market event showcases wares by some of Brisbane's finest local and emerging artists and crafters. Choose from a fantastic selection of paintings, fashion garments and accessories, millinery, textile art, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, wood art, paper craft, children's toys, and anything else that is handmade.

Are you sure Eat Street market is free?. Last time I went there I had to pay to get in.

It's $2 to get into Eat Street, I was there at the weekend. It's totally worth it though!
