Moomba Festival Moomba Festival is returning to the shores on Melbourne on 7 March 2014. The festival, a legacy from the historic 8 hour working day protest in 1856, will drape Melbourne in the flamboyant colours of festivities until 10 March 2014. The impressive programme itinerary includes a Birdman's Rally, where people attempt to 'fly' into Yarra River off a 4 feet platform, carnival rides, live entertainment, fireworks display and food stalls. This four day festival is indubitably one of the most happening Melbourne festivals of the year.

Thai Culture and Food Festival Federation Square will come alive with the annual Thai Culture and Food Festival on 15 March 2014. This festival will bring Thailand to the heart of Melbourne. Wander around the pop up Thai village to experience ancient fold traditions and gain first-hand experience of Thai way of life. A beauty contest will regale visitors while Thai rock and pop bands will ensure non-stop live entertainment. Cooking demonstrations, Muay Thai exhibition fights, cultural shows are some of the other highlights. Delicious Thai cuisine will also have an effervescent presence as you take a trip to Thailand.

Kew Community Festival Kew Community Festival will be held on 14 March 2014 and will run until 30 March 2014. The remarkable programme itinerary includes a Youth Talent Quest, "Kew Sings" choral concert, community dance, sporting activities, exploration trips around the Kew environs and so on. The climax will be reached on 29 March 2014 when a street parade will take place and live entertainment on centre stage will woo visitors. The evening sky of 29 March 2014 will light up with a marvellous display of fireworks. One of the best family-friendly festivals of the year, all are invited to the Kew Community Festival.
