[SECTION]Brisbane Irish Festival: 9 to 17 March[/SECTION]

Brisbane Irish Festival is just the excuse everyone needs to claim Irish ancestry and some affinity with The Emerald Isle, no matter how remote. It used to just be St Patrick's Day with green beer and the annual parade but that's no longer enough to accommodate all that Irishness. Now a whole week is set aside for celebrations that include the parade, a family sports day, concerts, and a dinner. Read Debra's article here for the lowdown on all that's happening.
