Let your kids be entertained at your local library
Wondering how to entertain the kids for six whole weeks over the school holidays. One of the first places I look are the Brisbane City Council Libraries as they always host a range of activities for kids over this break. My son and I have seen Super Steph's Magic Show, the Giant Book Show, Clowning Shows and also attended a number of Christmas story times. They are always fun and exciting but fairly short and are perfect for younger children.
There are three main shows being held at various libraries throughout December:
Bazil Grumble and the Magic Story Book. Story telling with interactive, play, masks and rhyme. Ideal for children aged 3-10. Various libraries.
Jurassic Joe and The Dinosaur Club: A singing, dancing, educational tour of the prehistoric world. Ideal for children aged 3-10. Various Libraries
Red Rocket 3 in action
Red Rocket 3: Live music, sing-a-longs and interactive games. Ideal for children aged 3-10. Various Libraries.
There will be Christmas Story Readings at most libraries, including:Stones Corner, West End, Garden City, Mitchelton, Sunnybank Hills, Everton Park, Coopers Plains, Toowong, Holland Park, Mt Ommaney, Ashgrove and Fairfield, Indooroopilly.
