From hoop-er-cise to AFL-inspired workouts to yoga
Join in on free outdoor exercise activities for all levels with the Get Active in Darebin initiative in Summer 2016.
Run by the Darebin City Council, the program encompasses fun social fitness classes all taking place in public parks in the Darebin area.

Weekly classes are run in the same location for a period of up to seven weeks. Bring nothing but yourself, your water and a towel to the welcoming classes. Registration is not required - simply turn up to the classes of your choice.
Choose a low-impact session such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, or a walking group; a sports-inspired workout like Net-a-cise, AFL Active, or Soccer; or do a fun class like Zumba, Hoop-er-cise, or a social spin class for women. There is also an indoor exercise class in Northcote for those with small children, with space for babies and toddlers to socialise.
