Permaculture WorkshopHorticultural student, Tahlia, from Newman's Nursery, will show workshop participants how to use kitchen scraps to do composting, and sustainable gardening practices. Tahlia is passionate about all things sustainability and growing her own food at home. Tahlia will share about re-purposing kitchen waste and making most out of it, composting and worm farming, and the basic principles of permaculture gardening, which is all about making sustainable gardening choices to ensure your garden thrives.
This workshop will be held at City of Tea Tree Gully Library, 571 Montague Road Modbury, in the Relaxed Reading Area, from 10am until 11am, on Tuesday 7 February 2023.

Community Plant Propagation WorkshopsThe City of Salisbury, together with Provenance Indigenous Plants, is holding a series of free plant propagation workshops. Come along and help prepare the seedlings to grow before being planted in their forever homes, while learning some great skills and tips which you can use when gardening at home.
The workshop will be held at Provenance Indigenous Plants, 40 Sandy Crescent, Salisbury Park, on 24 February 2023 and also on 24 March 2023. Each workshop session will start at 10am and will go until 11.30am. The seedlings of a variety of trees and shrubs will be planted along the Little Para River in May and June 2023. You can also give a hand at this community planting event and help get the ball rolling.
