As we all strive for a sense of inner peace, health and happiness, many eastern practices like meditation are becoming not only more popular but the go-to source for relaxation, exercise and well being.
Whether you are a beginner or master practitioner, why not join in on the sands of Redcliffe's Suttons Beach (in front of the 1937 Art Deco Pavillion building and restaurant) with sweeping views to Moreton Island for a unique meditative experience.
Mark 21 January 2019 to your calendar, when the moon will rise at 6.53pm over Moreton Island and the guided meditation will begin at approximately 7.10pm. Being an outdoor event, the event is weather dependent, so let's hope for clear skies.
For your own comfort, don't forget to bring a towel or rug to lie on the sand and consider bringing a jacket or wrap, as it can be cool by the water after sunset. Children are welcome.
This event is completely free, so get your year off to a relaxing and healthy start at the Full Moon Meditation at Suttons Beach.
