How exciting! The Christmas school holidays are upon us, which means that locals and holidaymakers can treat themselves to some fabulous FREE movies in the park in Coolum. There is nothing more appealing and exciting for the kids than packing a picnic, blankets and chairs and settling back to enjoy some awesome family movies, under the stars! Here's hoping that the weather gods are kind to us outdoor movie buffs.

ELF

SATURDAY 23 DECEMBER, FROM 6.00pm



Buddy is a human who was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and then raised to adulthood amongst Santa’s elves. Seemingly unable to shake the feeling that he doesn’t quite fit in - perhaps his size? - the grown-up Buddy travels to New York in full elf regalia, in search of his real father.

ELF is a fabulous fantasy comedy that the whole family will love!

JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL

SATURDAY 30 DECEMBER, FROM 6.00pm



After their adventures in Jumanji, a group of friends return in Jumanji: The Next Level , to rescue one of their own, but discover that the game has changed. They will now have to brave the unknown, from dry deserts to snowy mountains … all to escape the world’s most dangerous game.

When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip, who is on a quest of her own. ODDBALL

An eccentric chicken farmer, with the help of his granddaughter, trains his mischievous dog Oddball to protect a penguin sanctuary from fox attacks in an attempt to reunite his family and save their seaside town.
A family adventure that everyone will love.

RED DOG
FRIDAY 26 JANUARY, FROM 6.00pm



Red Dog is based on the true story of a dog who successfully brought a whole town together while roaming the Australian outback, in search of his master. The loveable Red Dog teaches the community about love, friendship, loyalty to courage, sacrifice and strength.
A movie that the whole family will love and enjoy.

Bookmark the dates and come along to enjoy fabulous FREE family-friendly flicks under the stars, with live music and face painting. Screening of movies commences at about 6.30pm’ish, depending on sunset times.

Make sure to get there early to reserve your spot in the park. Raid the piggy-bank as there will be hot dogs, snacks, sweets and popcorn available to purchase, all adding to a truly authentic movie experience.
